Here are the instructions for installing this patch (It is the same as installing any other HMC's PTF/Updates):

ISO image:
1.	Download the ISO image and burn on CD 
2.	Login to the HMC as hscroot 
3.	Insert the CD into the HMC DVD Drive 
4.	Launch a restricted shell terminal on the HMC (Right mouse click on desktop) 
5.	Issue the command: updhmc -t m 
6.	When the installation is complete, it should be very quick and you get the prompt back, take the CD out of the DVD drive. 
7.	You should not need to reboot the HMC

Zip image:
1.	Copy the zip file onto the HMC under /home/hscroot 
2.	Login to the HMC as hscroot 
3.	Issue the command: updhmc -t l -f /home/hscroot/SSHFix_1224.zip -c 
4.	When the installation is complete, the file will be removed.

If you want to use the GUI to install this patch , then follow instructions below:
1.	Bring up HMC Console User Interface (WebSM) 
2.	Under License Internal Code Maintenance, select HMC Code Update 
3.	On the content pane, select Install Corrective Service. 
4.	When the panel is displayed, if you are installing using CD media, insert the CDROM into the DVD drive, then press OK. 
5.	If your zip file is installed on your internal FTP server, then select 'Download the corrective service.....' then fill in the information requested. Press OK when all the information has been filled in.

This is provided just in case you run into any issues after installing the patch.

Instructions for installing this is almost exactly the same as installing the patch except for the zip and ISO file names.
